Dynamic Mortgage Banker with highly profitable Commercial R/E Finance group is looking to bring on degreed; experienced commercial real estate loan originator! Will continuously call on personal referral network, [ie: attys; brokers; developers; investor groups], in order to generate proposal opportunites. Originates, analyses, structures and closes
new construction, acquisition and permanent-long term financing deals that typically range from $10mm to $100mm.

Ideal candidate will be a self-motivated; highly organized; solution-orientated professional. Will bring solid lending experience (at least 3 - 10 yrs.); high personal integrity; excellent analytical skills:(applied to commercial credit analysis); excellent written and verbal skills. Ideally, our client seeks someone who has experience handling larger credit requests

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for developing and maintaining correspondent bank relations in an assigned territory. conducts and coordinates activities within and outside of the bank pertaining to the development of : "Partnership Banking relationships" providing products/solutions for - participation loans; deposit accounts of correspondent banks; Directors' Banking Services; Cash Management and I.T. NATURE AND SCOPE:

The M&I Bank has a growing correspondent bank network, Nationally. Originates and presents to the Discount Committee all loan requests from its correspondent banks. All approved loans and earned income are assigned to the Commercial Loan Division. All Federal Funds purchased from or sold to correspondent banks are served in the Investment Division. A significant asset of the Correspondent Bank Division has been its ability to maintain continuity in its customer relationships.

Incumbent responsible for supplying bank services, soliciting quality customers: calling on prospective customers to inform them of new &/or improvedservices.

Internally, this position interfaces with all persons who have responsibility for the processing of correspondent bank work. Primary contacts include executive level management, computer customer service representatives, trust estate planners, international loan officers, and investment specialists. Externally, the incumbent contacts executive management of corporations and of correspondent and prospective correspondent banks.

Salary: To $175,000 D.O.E.
